URGENT PARKING NOTICE

THE NORWALK DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION & PARKS HAS JUST INSTALLED NEW PARKING METERS IN CRANBURY PARK. As hard as we tried to convince them that patrons of the Carriage House should not pay for parking, they would not waive the fee.

Patrons who are driving vehicles not registered in Norwalk must pay for parking in Cranbury Park or risk being ticketed. To pay for parking, you must download the Park Mobile app and pay via the app.

Here are the parking FAQ from Norwalk’s website:

What app do I use to pay for parking?

The app is called Park Mobile and is available on iOS and Android devices. It is free to download. Visitors can park and then pay via the app.

What if I don’t have a smartphone or data plan?
Visitors can pre-pay for parking online at Park Mobile.

What if I have additional questions?

Please call the Norwalk Recreation & Parks Department at (203) 854-7813 or email recreation@norwalkct.org.

We at the Carriage House feel this new parking fee is unfair to our patrons,. If you would like to be reimbursed, the Board of the Carriage House has decided that the theater would reimburse you the parking fee even though we will not be receiving remuneration from Norwalk. If you wish to be reimbursed, please show your confirmation to Ursula in the Box Office.

And if you are unhappy with the new fee, we urge you to contact The Norwalk Recreation & Parks Department listed above.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued patronage.
